Balancing Act

Balancing Act explores movement, tension and equilibrium through the visual language of folded paper translated into bronze.

Angular planes give the sculpture a deceptive lightness, while the permanence and weight of bronze create a quiet contradiction: something that appears folded, fragile and momentary is transformed into an enduring object.

The work sits comfortably within both a contemporary art collection and an architectural interior, where changing light catches its faceted surfaces and continually alters the way the form is read.
