To earn respect, it must be given. This saying informs much of Zulu culture. It describes the flow of a relationship that is mindful of the other, and how that otherness also defines us. It is related to honour and humility. It is a way of being that binds communities together, preserving what is most precious. 

Handcrafted in solid bronze, its dimensions are 25cm by 10cm by 11cm. It weighs 2.8kg.

Each piece is individually cast and finished by hand at our studio and foundry in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. Please allow approximately 8–10 weeks from order to dispatch. Subtle variations in patina and finish are part of the character of each handmade work.
